My name is Ashton and I am awkward. None of us are perfect, but if we’re lucky we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with our own. My work is to capture that weirdness and celebrate it in all it’s perfectly flawed magic.

Why "Awkward Soul?” Well I think it's how I'd describe myself pretty well. I think we are all awkward creatures desperately trying to fit in, to find our place, and share it with those we love most. We can spend our lives putting on a presentation of how we want to be perceived, desperately seeking approval from our peers, we use filters to hide our flaws, we strive for acceptance. Awkward Soul is about accepting and loving ourselves the way we are. It's about being the antithesis of what social media makes us feel we have to be. I want to capture your story in it's most sincere form. Every wrinkle and imperfection is you. I'm not into anything fake or forced. I can't offer you heavily photoshopped imagery or anything staged, what I can offer is sincerity.
